By Popular Demand

I'm back! A brief hiatus in posting here was caused by the halt of my wonderful summer vacation. Yes, I had to go back to work. This made me realize a few things: I hate my job, I still love coffee, and you better say good morning to me before you ask me to fix your damn computer. In better news, Kristen (Girlfriend of the Year 2005) whisked me away to Albuquerque this past weekend and spoiled me with the Presidential Suite at the Rio Rancho Inn. We feasted like royalty at Sushi Gen on San Mateo and Tucanos downtown on Central. I have a new appreciation for wasabi and unagi! There will be more fishy indulgences when we go to Tucson later in the month to visit Trent and friends.

Mac OS X Leopard: User Wishlists

Last July at the Worldwide Developers Conference, Steve Jobs hinted that in one year, the next version of Mac OS X would be unveiled. The only information he could give the Mac community is another feline-friendly codename: Leopard. What is to be included in this release? Only time will tell, but at least we have plenty of time for speculation! I invite YOU, the reader, to post YOUR comments and feature requests for Leopard here. What would you like to see? I will be updating with my own ideas soon.

Robot Hobo: Coming Soon

Almost spontaniously, Michael and I decided to launch a clothing company yesterday with the help of Cafe Press. We are still working on some designs to lauch with, but Scottdot will remain the forefront for our apparel. As of now, we plan on selling our t-shirts for $16.99 USD. Trust me, you will want to buy 37 of these for Christmas gifts for your family, friends, and coworkers. More coming soon!

A few days ago I blogged about bloggers who blog for blogging's sake. Well two nights ago I ran into Jared over at Michael's house and he revealed that he blogs for the ladies. So for you thousands of females who read Scottdot religiously, I advise you to check out Jared's blog. Also, I'm looking into problems with the Blogger-supplied Atom feed for RSS goodness. It doesn't seem to be updating with the most recent posts. This should be resolved when the new site goes live (looks like that won't happen until September now).

Blogging About Blogging

CNN has inspired me, as well as Sarah, to blog about blogging. Apparently, "bloggers blog about blogging" and non-bloggers just don't understand. Although Sarah does say she likes the idea of reading random posts about people she may or may not know, just to see what they're up to. Fun fact: A new blog is created on an average of every second! Now, think of all the mindless dribble that you can read online today. Tomorrow, there will be 86,400 times more psycho-babble! And if we're lucky, another fun-filled post from me! Until then, let Technorati help you discover more.

Thank You eWeek

I was drafting up a good compare/contrast piece on Mac OS X Tiger and the forthcoming Windows Vista (aka, Windows Piece-of-Crap), but eWeek beat me to it. Good thing, too, as I have been busy playing a lot of Diablo II the past week.
