Mac OS X Leopard: User Wishlists

Last July at the Worldwide Developers Conference, Steve Jobs hinted that in one year, the next version of Mac OS X would be unveiled. The only information he could give the Mac community is another feline-friendly codename: Leopard. What is to be included in this release? Only time will tell, but at least we have plenty of time for speculation! I invite YOU, the reader, to post YOUR comments and feature requests for Leopard here. What would you like to see? I will be updating with my own ideas soon.

tonza here...

... I think the Finder ought to fix some very important issues with regards to icon positioning and view maintenance.

Currently, the way the Finder keeps track of views and icons is disgraceful! Things get confused easily in what I call "Finder Amnesia", and switching between Aqua and Textured Finder windows is problematic since original window sizes are lost. These simple details need urgent attention, in my opinion.
