Against All Gods

Soon I will be one band closer to dying a happy man. On December 13, I will be joining many others in seeing Marilyn Manson at the Albuquerque Civic Center and I cannot wait! The tickets have been purchased and sacrifices have been made. This leaves me with only three acts that I must see before I die: KMFDM, The Prodigy, and Nine Inch Nails. "Sitting on a corn flake. WiFi Taipei? No way!

According to CNN, Taipei will be the next major city to approach a large-scale public wifi network. Last I heard, a similar project planned for Philadelphia may not see the light of day thanks to the govenor of Pennsylvania. It's a shame that these things are not promoted more often and utilized more as a means to provide cheap access for all citizens in a particular area. We are just beginning to scratch the surface. I also find it cool that Taipei's flag resembles a power button. :) Taipei gets world's largest Wi-Fi grid [CNN]

Rain and Neglect

For probably the millionth day in a row the sky is full of precipitation. I don't remember the last time I saw New Mexico (or at least this half of the state) so wet! It felt like today would be a good day to make some sort of post on my blog, as I feel very bad for neglecting it so much. I have been very busy with video production projects for class, including a music video and a Seinfeld parody that I am directing. I will try to post both of them here when they are completed. I also have a huge portfolio presentation the last week of school that I am hurrying to complete and have polished. Among other things to look forward to is the JOF Productions website. While still under heavy construction, you can look at the wonderful Splash Page!
