Honmei-choco!

Easily the best Valentines Day ever! Kristen surprised me Japanese style, first with lunch from Shogun, then with origami, Pocky, rice candy, and cool little takeout boxes. I shouldn't forget all the fortune cookies and chopsticks! The kids gave me lots of cards and candy, which didn't come as much of a surprise, but I still liked it! Later, I took Kristen out for a formal dinner and drinks. She gave me an incence burner, some really cool candles, and another lucky bamboo plant. The best thing of all was a box of my most favorite candy from my childhood in Japan, these tiny chocolate filled panda bears! I almost screamed in jubilation! Meanwhile, her iPod Shuffle has yet to even ship. I am hoping she will get it next week, as we're both very excited to try it out. Now it's time to plan for White Day!
