Vacation Time

I have not had a chance to make a post after the show last Monday night, mostly because my domain name expired and I did not see the notice in my inbox. It took quite some time for DNS servers to update again, but everything is back up and running again. The Manson concert was quite possibly the best show I've ever been to! I did have really high expectations, however, which means I have to rate it a 9 out of 10. I don't think any of us were disappointed. I even bought an over-priced t-shirt for $27. The band played a great set, but the encore of "Antichrist Superstar" was by far the best. A very high-energy show, but too bad most of us got sick afterwards. Curses! Christmas is coming at the end of the week and I still can't believe it. I have done little shopping and I seemed to end up with an extra gift after getting in a huge fight with Amanda that ended with "I never want to talk to you again." I ordered my parents' gift of a 3-room DirecTV system with a TiVo receiver for the living room. Bye-bye VCR!!! I always seem to get my folks some new piece of technology that I'll have to spend all Christmas day teaching them how to use. Oh well, it's better than leaving them in the 20th Century. Other goals for vacation: read some books, digital photography, work on some music, and get the portfolio online (heard that last one before, haven't ya?).
